The Book of Prayer
وَلَهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ بُرَيْدَةَ فِي اَلْعَصْرِ: { وَالشَّمْسُ بَيْضَاءُ نَقِيَّةٌ } 1 .1 - صحيح. رواه مسلم (613) وعنده: "والشمس مرتفعة... ". ومعنى "بيضاء نقية": أي: لم يدخلها شيء من الصفرة، وفي الحديث السابق: "ما لم تصفر الشمس".
Narrated Buraidah (RA) in another version of the above Hadith regarding 'Asr (afternoon prayer): "When the sun is white and clear." .
