The Book of Emancipating Slaves
باب إِنَّمَا الْوَلاَءُ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ
Al-Wala' (Right of inheritance) belongs to the one who manumits the slave
وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ النَّوْفَلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ نَحْوَهُ .
'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her). the wife of Allah's Apostle (may Peace be upon him) said: This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Shu'ba with the same chain of transmitters.
