The Book on Jihad
باب مَا جَاءَ فِي كَرَاهِيَةِ التَّحْرِيشِ بَيْنَ الْبَهَائِمِ وَالضَّرْبِ وَالْوَسْمِ فِي الْوَجْهِ .
What Has Been Related About The Dislike Of Encouraging Beasts To Fight On Another [And Striking Them Or Branding Them On The Face]
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنِ التَّحْرِيشِ بَيْنَ الْبَهَائِمِ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَيُقَالُ هَذَا أَصَحُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ قُطْبَةَ
Abu Yahya reported from Mujahid: "The Prophet (ﷺ) prohibited instigating fights between beasts." And he did not mention "from Ibn 'Abbas" in it.
